Air Fare Buzz Tracker

A compact, efficient gadget to monitor the best airfares recently found on Kayak.com (what they call fare buzz). Select any departure airport and up to five destination airports; also supports options for preferred month of travel and display currency.

Use this gadget to keep an eye on cheap flights to places you'd like to travel. When you spot a good one, a single click will take you Kayak.com's state-of-the-art flight search engine.

• Get the code for including the gadget on any other web page
• Fare Buzz Tracker can also be added to your Google mail sidebar, for extra convenience. Here's how:
  1. In GMail, click the Settings link (at the upper-right), and go to the Labs tab.
  2. In Labs, turn on the Add any gadget by URL feature (currently towards the bottom), and save your changes.
  3. Back in Settings, go to the Gadgets tab.
  4. Copy & paste in the following URL to activate the gadget:

  http://gad.getpla.net/fare/tracker.xml

* Mac OS X 10.4.3 Tiger (or higher) is required. If you're using Safari, click the download link above. When the widget download is complete, Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.
